Toby Jonathan Maynard
was welcomed into the arms of his parents,
HK and Judy Maynard,
and welcomed into the arms of his Creator,
Jesus Christ,
on Friday, December 12, 2014.
Toby weighed 5 lbs, 5 oz
and was 19.5 inches long.
He had dark hair
and ten beautiful fingers and ten long toes.
He is loved and missed by his parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who were very much looking forward to meeting him soon.
Toby went ahead of us to heaven because of an umbilical cord accident a few days to a week before he was born. His heartbeat was not found at his regular appointment on December 9, confirmed by an ultrasound. Judy's labor was induced on December 10 and she delivered Toby at 1:14 am on December 12.
Toby's middle name was given to him in honor of Judy's brother Jonathan Russell.
Toby's nickname is TJ because his daddy, HK, and Maynard uncles EJ and HV all have "initial names" and so TJ needed one, too. The "J" is for Uncle Jonathan, but also for Uncle EJ and Uncle James, Great-Grandpa Joe, Grandma Donna J, our friend Joe, cousin Jace, honorary cousins Johnathan, Josef and Jakob, mom Judy, our friend Jay and all the other "J" friends and family we love and wanted TJ to know and love, too.
